Here's an easy and simple way to get a quality demo recording at an affordable price

1. Record your song on to a cassette tape, either with or without accompaniment. Don't be shy, ask a friend to help. If you can't play an instrument, just sing your melody, we can write a chord chart to your vocals

2. Type or print your lyrics on a sheet of paper.

3. Include your name, address, and phone number.

4. Get a cashiers check or money order (U.S. funds only) in the amount of $49.95 made payable toMcGregor Studios

5. Please add $50 if you would like one of our vocalist to sing your song for you

6. Please request male or female vocalist, also, if you plan to use tracks for performance or recording, we will need to know your key.

Mail Order Demos consist of the following instruments:

Unless specified, we may enhance your song without any additional charges. All songs remain your property. We do not take any songwriting credit for our services. What does this mean? Some other songwriting services will demo your song as is. This sometimes means the songs are out of meter, odd bars, too many words for a line in the song, or the chorus is in 3/4 and the verse in 4/4, different time signatures. The bottom line here is, if your song has any of these problems and you are trying to send it to a publisher or artist it will be tossed in the trash right after the odd bar or wordy lines. Now if you get a reply suggesting a rewrite to correct these problems, you have to spend the money to demo the song again. We believe you get one good shot in the door and if it is not your best, you may not get another. There are too many song writers out there for you to be sending a poor demo of your song. We rely on our staff of professional musicians and singers to help create the absolute best quality demo of your song possible!
