About Us

Hello my name is Steve McGregor. First I would like to thank you for stopping by my site and hope you enjoy. I have been a musician and recording engineer for over thirty years. I started playing guitar when I was ten years old and soon after started playing piano. Being from the Deep South (Mississippi) music has always been a very important part of my life. As a child I listened to country, bluegrass, rock and roll and southern gospel. I played my first job when I was thirteen years old. From that moment on I knew I was hooked, for that night in that tiny little place in Clarksdale Mississippi I had done something that I loved to do, people enjoyed it and I even got paid for it. That one night lead me down countless path’s that never would have been possible without music in my life.

Artist such as Jerry Lee Lewis, Floyd Kramer, and Chet Atkins,  have been major influences on my music. Through the years I have learned to play several other instruments such as bass guitar, banjo, Steel guitar, fiddle/violin and mandolin. Even though I don’t read music I do envy those who do. I have four children who are also musicians and in the music business. I am enjoying recording my own music as well as recording for other artist such as your self.
